I have a newbie question guys,

I am wrapping up my motor build and was sent a basemap from my tuner for ecu flash. I do not know how to load this into my ecu. Can someone help me out with how this is done? I am a total newbie when it comes to ecu flash. I currently have an open port 2.0 and it is for my 04 Evo 8.

Download tune from tuner on your tuning computer
Open ECUFLASH
Open the tune your tuner sent you in ecuflash
Connect cable to car and turn ignition swtich on; don't start the car
Test write the tune (I always do this prior to flashing anything)
Write current tune to ECU

...

Your tuner should be able to assist you with this as well; you'll be doing a lot of it.
