Ecuflash wont read rom. Searched already.

hello everyone, I have recentlyt bought a shell and swapped my drivetrain into it and added a list of aftermarket parts to it along the way. well its wrapped up and im trying to flash a basemap on it until i can get it to a tuner. I bought a brand new tactrix 1.3u cable and downloaded ecuflash. For the life of me i cant get ecuflash to read the existing rom. My snapon modis ultra scanner connects just fine and can read live data from that. brand new optima red top with a battery charger hooked to it when im trying to read from the ecu. ive tried running ecuflash in admin mode. ive reformatted my computer to start from scratch. ive made sure the driver for the cable is up to date.. it has to be something to do with the cable/computer/program. i have no idea what im dpoing wrong but its really frusrating, its the only thin holding me back from driving my car for the first time. ill post the log below. any ideas?? i would gladly compemnsate someone who could help me fix this issue.

If your cable is like mine it won't work on the newer ecuflash. The last version I am able to use is 1.29a or evoscan. Try downloading 1.29 and see if it works, it's toward the bottom.

I have the oldest version of 1.3 from 10 years ago, and mine works just fine with the latest revision of ECU Flash.
Im assuming so, but your 1.3 also has the white flash plug attached to it?

Try logging with EVOScan, and tell me what it reads when it tries to connect.

It looks like it tries to read, and then is stopped by something.
Either it doesn't like the ECU in the car, or it is not sensing it, which could be the connector on the cable, or the usb side in the laptop. Is the connector terminal on the car ok, any thing weird with it?

ANything crazy in the rommetadata folder inside ecuflash?
Do you know what ROM ID your trying to read off, or put on?

I ended up figuring it out. I Uninstalled everything and used the download link from the tactrix site for version 1.39 I believe.. I guess something along the line wasn't compatible with the newest version of ecuflash. Thank you guys for the help.
