Disable DTC via hex editor

Disable DTC via hex editor
For my dsm I am getting code p1105. I opened the rom in HEX editor and see that code stored, can I change it to a non-DTC code to have it not show up? I know about periphery bits in ECUFlash but doesn't turning that off shut down multiple systems? I want to only keep the DTC from showing up!
