Hey all i am attempting to get these bosch 2000 cc injectors to idle but cannot for the sake of me.

Resistor box removal
96531706 sd rom

I tried multiple scalings and latecies and had no succes.

The numbers i input were from threads here on evo m for id2000 and also fic 2150 i believe.

I cannot get these things to keep idle, car starts only if i press throttle.

Came across some threads suggesting to ad a Minimum IPW table to my rom.

Any info or tips appreciated.

 

Car starts if i give it gas and will keep running but only at a raised rpm. But wideband slowly drops to 11.0 afr "pig rich"

Soon as i let off throttle i dies.


Also i notied my EVO SCAN current data Injector Pw stayed at like 1.28. And my stft O2 feed back pegs to -25%

I am also trying to tune SD with 2 roms 96531706 and 96534706 3D SD

 

I read through that but I believe those are for evo x.

Also all my files are hex and not xml how do I convert?

 

All the files in rom metadata>evo folder are XML. Open the file in note pad , add the minimum ipw table . Open your hex file / bin file. Mai changes and you are good to go.

 

Ok so after more reading I understand that the xml definitions are just for my rom to read patches that I can use in ecu flash. Correct?
















Ive yet to patch a ecu in any way.

Im not familiar with editing my bin hex files neither.

On a side note my car was previously tuned on a different laptop so I need to figure out what patches are on it and download them to my computer?

Little update.

Car has been flashed with min ipw patch.

Car will not start up on its own. Some throttle needs to be given to get it to fire up. Eventually it will hold idle but i need to help it with tps.

Also im reading 22% tps fully closed, is this a issue?

Is this a injector tuning issue? I am logging -5 fuel trims.

Once warm the car still wont start up with out throttle assistance.

Any tips are welcome.

 

Have you checked the fuel pressure yet.......while it's idling too fast.

 

TPS should be 13.7 -14

4B11- Did you adjust the BISS ? -5 means ECU is pulling fuel..

I figured it out. Tps out of adjustment. Doesnt have a biss screw. Its a full blown throttle.

Make sure that the throttle cable doesnt have a slack in it.

I recently installed throttle body, forgot to check it properly ..

Car started behaving odd at stops and idle getting.. turned out to be a slacky cable..
