Knock and log evaluation

As I am setting up my 3 port solenoid I would like to share some logs in order to get some feedback on it. Did about 6 back to back pulls and one of them has quite some knock (4 counts max) the rest of the pulls just had the sporadic 1 - 2 counts of knock. The log of the knock is with timestamp: 21:13:20

I am looking for some good feedback on how to continue, how do you guys interpret the knockcount of 4 as I was just able to get it in one pull, the rest of them look good to me.

Car specs:
E6 GSR
Full turbo back
Apexi Power Intake
Walbro 255
MAC 3 port solenoid
Aiming for: 1.4 peak - 1.35 bar boost
98 Octane
Looking forward for your feedback.

Thanks in advance,

Roy

Couple things.

One, you are logging way too many items at once. Narrow it down to what you need and remove the rest.

Two, I don't see any boost being logged. I would look into that, spool seems slow for a (assuming) stock turbo.

Usually the first good pull is riddled with knock for no good reason. I, as well as others, experience this daily. Looking at everything in front of me, I'd say you are fine. But I would be interested in a log with less data and some boost.

Did you do any mechanical work before this started happening ?
Retard 2 degree timing in that load zone and see knock goes away.
Other wise its picking up some back ground noise.

It's in 1 pull out of 6. 5 are clean. I wouldn't pull timing unless it was a repeatable factor. His timing is fairly mild at that load anyhow.

First of all thanks for your answers, much appreciated!

Apologies for logging that much items, will turn it down to the more important variables.

Will try to install my GM 3 Bar map sensor this weekend. Now using my Defi gauge with record function.

Just started reading about the slow spool, can this be due to my tune, making the turbo spooling that slow? I personally found my max torque being late as well, was just reading about warped / bend wastgate flapper or a boostleak maybe.

Have changed to BR8ES plugs recently, and car has been away for MOT so the decat was removed and placed back, maybe my downpipe is hitting something.

Will more aggresive timing help to spool faster, and maybe a little leaner mixture? I read some different opinions in different posts

Thanks,

Roy

You are right buddy but personally when i tune , i rule out the ignition timing part first which fairly straight forward.
It has helped me at quite a few occasions. However, it seems more mechanical to me.
Even a loose metal strip will make knock sensor go wild.
