So, im having some trouble with my launch maps.. The car seems to be getting knock, sometimes low, sometimes high, (even when I up the timing to -6), and when i come off the throttle, the car becomes pig rich and bugs down.. This is my current launch map. It seems to transition fine in the timing. Does it need more fuel? and then less fuel at lower rpms? Any help would be awesome, thanks!
I would raise timing a bit and add fuel and see if the knock decreases counts then slowly dial it back to desired level. Are you a drag racer? That's a lot of boost to make off the line in my experience you will just spin. Also ensure you blend the map with your regular map as you transition back to the main map and launch map.

Yea I raised it to -6 at 5500 and still getting same knock... And no, but I do sometimes go to the strip.. I agree it's way too much, plus don't think my clutch likes it very much 😂 how do you blend with your regular map? Sry still learning!
I basically copy my main ignition map to the launch map then gradually bring the timing down to the rpm where i am engaging the 2 step. Also are you just wot to engage the 2 step or gradually increasing tps until desired rpm. The latter I feel will reduce knock in my experience. A lot of this is trial and error and just seeing what your car likes good luck.
Also I agree with the above, I have better luck with aggressive launch control when I tip into it slowly.

So went out and did some tweaking and these are my results:
This my current map, changed it to -6 and usually getting little knock.. However, sometimes it spikes to -10, and thats when i get a lot of knock.... (logs below) Is there any way to run -10 timing without knock? Cause ive seen others on here run -10 without an issue, yet when i do it, i get tons of knock even with adding gas, so im confused! Plus i love the loud bangs Also hooked up my wideband
Update: Did a launch today and the car took off amazingly.. No knock or anything and built 15 psi i think. The car only bogs down when i am stationary and doing 2-step. When i let off, thats when it begins to bog down, so has to be an issue with the launch map. Now, how do i get down to -10 without knock?
