twin BCS evo's

Hi Guys,

Quick Q:

For twin BCS evo's (ie JDM 8, UK 9) is the active solenoid logged as MUT86?

The correction is only applied to the active solenoid right? (hence its name)

Cheers
D.

I can't be bothered look at the code... but if no-one knows I will run it through the sim :)

I replace the active solenoid with a 3port in an Evo 9 RS , and everything is fine the correction is working too, but I upload your V7 rom too.

and does your MUT86 log the 3port/active solenoid?

Looks like I will have to sim it to be 100% sure :)

hmmm it could just be my car.... u know we both special :)

Yes I can log it on mut86 100% sure with the 88580714 rom !
Tephra coud you look after speed density patch for 88580714 for these non usdm evo 9 ? We have psi based boost control. Only need the speed density some times and MrFred wideband controlled closed loop patch. Ready to send donation for it !

+1

Also for me 88580714 SD would be great! I have already ported livemapping on it, now just SD is missing...

I have done the SD stuff for 88580014 already, ages ago.. its a slightly different method to jcsbanks original, but mostly the same.

I would be happy to share the tables/addresses and someone can get it working properly...

But you really need disasm skills otherwise you will have problems..

I have checked your tables/addresses from jcsbanks original thread SD - first success or something and those addresses there are great help to get started. Do you mean those addresses or you have some others? Some table of those was still unclear for me (I'm on other computer now and cannot check) and with my minor disasm skills I did not agree with that as in other SD roms it was done other way. I will check later what I meant but most of this job is already done with those tables (like trouble code disabling and stuff). Anyway if someone starts porting this stuff it should be done to support DMA in my opinion as tuning would be then much easier and faster.

I also noticed that method has changed on it's way, do you still remember differencies between yours and jcsbanks latest (or have I misunderstood something)? Is there any benefit of using some newer method?

so after reviewing the code for 96260009 I *think* the WGDC tables that are 100% as stock are the active (ie affected by correction) solenoid

that also links to MUT86 as far as I can tell...
