ECUFlash / Evoscan / Mitsulogger Questions
#1726
Hi Hamish/guys,
I am considering purchasing a double din stereo with WinCE6.0 on it in order to run EvoScan (currently running a GoTab GW7 Win 10 tab) in the car.
Can you advise how I can run Evoscan on the WinCE6.0 headunit ?
Thanks.
Best Regards.

I can't seem to get EvoScan to log properly on my 2014 Ralliart. I just flashed one of the GST basemaps onto the car, but I still can't log with v2.9. When I try to log, it shows values like 35k rpm and 400+ PSIG and other arbitrary values for the other logged data.
I heard people were having issues with 2.9, so i downloaded 2.8 and 2.6 as well. 2.6 won't log because it doesnt seem to recognize my tactrix cable. 2.8 won't log anything but rpm. The other things I ask for show either nothing or arbitrary values.
Any ideas?
Update: After trying out the RAX ECU, it seems to work pretty well. Been getting a couple good logs from it.

Hi Guys,
Quick EvoScan question...
Is there a way to limit the amount of decimal spaces that EvoScan logs? Ie, can i limit it only display only 2 decimal places? Eg, x.xx
P.S.
Yes I'm aware that I can get Excel to do it, but would prefer to have it done within Evoscan itself if possible.
Thanks.

Hi.
I have Mitsubishi Lancer VIII and need to read firmware from ACD ECU. I have Tactrix Openport 2.0 and hand-made adapter for ACD ECU (25 pin in ACD to jack 2.5mm in Tactrix). When I trying to read, I have these in EcuFlash log:
My system is Windows 7 64-bit.
What I do wrong? I read some topics, maybe 11.5-11.7V power is too low for reading? Can I read firmware without disconnecting ECU from car? Also I tried to connect to the ACD in EvoScan in mode "Mitsubishi MUTIII" (because car without CAN) and OP2.0 and got J2534 error 16. Maybe failure in drivers? Because in device manager I see Tactrix with question mark, but in EcuFlash and EvoScan it successfully visible. And also, this car is maked for rally and main ECU is MoTeC, only diff controller (ACD) is Mitsubishi original. On this car absent diagnostic connector (OBD 16 pin) and I trying to connect to the ACD only with K-Line and reflash signal to 25 pin (and of course power from cigarette lighter). Maybe I need to connect 46 pin from ACD to 1 pin OBD in Tactrix (if my wiring diagram for ACD is true)?

I have been having issues with running EvoScan 2.9 w/ a Tactrix 1.3 and Innovate Serial Chain (Oil P&T, AFR, Boost). I'd like to log all of these in pulls. But it seems to disconnect and reconnect constantly, and I never see any Innovate Serial data.Is this supposed to work? How do I troubleshoot the reconnect issue?

If you are running a Tephra Rom, most standard MAP sensor values are already there, you just need to select them. If running a standard ROM, see here: JDM 3 Bar install

Hi Guys,
Evoscan question.
Been using it for 7 years, no issues at all until today. Running 2.9.0023. Loaded the live map tracer page, selected the xml file i wanted to load for some logging and the LOAD and RPM axis are stupidly big numbers. 25596 in all columns. WTF is going on cause i have no idea.
Limit live values is ALL,
Data values is Averages
Load is Auto
RPM is Auto
(My car is a Mitsubishi Legnum. Unlike EVO's we don't need a specific model XML file)
Baud rate is 15625 timeout ms is 1000
Openport 1.3 select Mitsubishi MUT111 is selected
My computer is running Windows 7 ( i know and it's never connected to the internet. It hasn't been connected to the net for years.)
Evocsan will connect and i'll get the green connected section, but no live curser.
I don't know what i may have don'e to cause this.
Any help appreciated
Cheers.

So i realised i was running 2.9.0020 and updated to 00.23. That was fine, so updated to also installed ECUflash .4503 was previously running 44something.
So i fixed the issue with by making sure my metadata was pointing to the correct directory. I also use E85 and a completely different XML def. I think there was a conflict with the directories being too close together for 98 and E85.
But i now have a problem with my E85 rom. When i load it to ECU flash it's now showing 5 digit number for load and rpm. I don't know why as its fine for 98.
Does EVOscan map tracer use the same directories as ECUFLASH to look up the files ROM files? I thought that may be the reason but i've made my directories quite separate so it shouldn't be an issue.
But it is...
