iPad + EcuFLash ?
Edit: EVO X forums beat me to the punch
Does anybody foresee a market for creating an iPad app for EcuFlash and/or Evoscan?
Going by Scosche's recent double-din iPad dash mount kit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrPEhG6LwCw, I think that many users would forego carrying a laptop in their car and use the iPad to modify their Roms and datalog.
I have an in car mounted dell computer with a pop out lcd screen, but the screen is only 7". Needless to say, I use a magnifying glass for tooning.
I would be willing to shell out some serious coin for an iPad EcuFlash/Evoscan app. Just think of all the scooby owners that would chime in as well!
Granted it would take the support of Tactrix, but I think there could be a real market out there for this. Let's face it, everybody is going to ditch their puny 7" Alpine or Kenwood crapbox stereos in favor of an in dash car mount + iPad for less money.

Only drawback is, a single din setup would be hard pressed to hold a 1.5lb ipad securely during a 4wd launch

Right, so how are you going to connect it to the ecu then?? It has to connect to the OP1.3/2 cable first. If there was a way to plug in a OP2 cable into the ipad i would be all for it. I dont think that 30 pin connecter can support both data, power, and audio all at the same time.

Would it be possible to run a USB from a tactrix cable, to mini USB converter and stick it in to the cable that Scosche already makes? http://www.scosche.com/products/sfID...productID/1622
