You really don't the resolution to be crazy high above 300 load and 6000 RPM. That's what interpolation is for and motor dynamics at WOT don't change that abruptly. Below those points, the stock scaling is pretty good.

Most people will probably just tune their highest load column then interpolate over to lower load stuff anyway. Or they will make it all the same. How many people truly tune their car at every load and RPM site? 5%?

If it means keeping livemap working with some future capabilities by not using up all the memory, 25x29 is plenty IMO.

I'm personally happy with any of those 3 options but I wouldn't mind having MORE resolution at my disposal in case I need it one day, rather than not enough.

I agree with this statment.

I will be more than happy with anything tephra is willing to do, but if I have a choice, I would like as much resolution as possible.

I can live with that So which Evo 8 and Evo 9 ROM's are you planning to implement the BigMaps in? The only Evo 8 Roms I think need any attention are 94170015 and 96530006.

Do the dual-solenoid VIII guys across the pond need a version as well? (I don't recall the ROM ID off the top of my head, 9266xxxx or similar?)
