LOL, good thing I got rid of my netbook. We gonna need bigger screens on our laptops now.

Here you go.

The RPM & Load scaling on this also shouldn't effect the low coolant temp timing trims either since it is still using the stock RPM axis down low...

^ lol - that car is going to run like a ****, 9* @ 10500rpm and 500load... :P

OK I am ready for a tester.

If one of my usual 96530006 guys emails me I can send them a test ROM + XML

We can finalise the rpm/load points when everyone has time to think about it.

^Thanks Bryan - I havn't included it yet, but we will try and get all the maps filled out for the final version!

I actually PREFER that the fuel and timing were using he same axis points since I want to tune THAT particular timing/load point to THAT specific fuel amount. God, this will be so sweet. I bet we can really get a lot more out of our tunes with this....keeping the knock monsters at bay.
Same here, would prefer they were the same size as well. It is annoying not having consistent resolution.

Great work Tephra!!!

That was my intent I planned ahead

lol, I obviously just copied the last column/row and extended it so it reacted the exact same way it would if somoene exceeded the stock maps limits. It was more to show the axis' anyhow

Yeah I tried messing with the low coolant temp timing to match a rescaled map the other day and the car behaved poorly...

Jack those scalings look prefect! That should pretty much take care of 99% of the people out there!

This is VERY exciting!

I don't know how possible it is, but if the axis used for the fuel are only called once, could you use those axis on the timing as well? Thus anything that used the timing axis originally will go unchanged and the fuel and timing axis will be locked together.

I know the fuel and timing use different values for loads, so maybe this isn't possible?

My concern about changing the timing axis is that what would happen when you get beyond the stock table area? For example, the stock low coolant timing map wouldn't have enough data to cover all the additional sites, would you end up pulling the wrong values out of the next adjacent map in the ROM?

Awesome work though and I hope the testing goes well. I'm not one of the guys that needs 500 for load, but I would love to not kill low end resolution just to get to 360 or so load.

Im pretty sure tephra already addressed this, and that the plan is to have the fuel and timing axis the same, also they will have the same table resolution.

ie if you change the fuel rpm axis the ignition rpm axis will automatically change too

makes things a tiny bit more simple on my end as well.

btw i'm doing 96530706 first - so if someone wants to be a brave guinea pig let me know

Im so excited about this, I cant wait! There are several places last time I was out tuning I was wishing I had more resolution!!! With this, those areas can be perfect now!!!

Tephra is an ECU code writing GOD!!!
(currently checking my $$$ flow, for donations!)

Here is the scaling for a 4 bar out to the edge of Kpa for us SD guys

Dont stare at the timing numbers too hard, nor my rpm scaling, as I will be changing it for the 2.2 I am sure
