Ok this is just a demo - I have yet to implement it into the code.

I need from you:
a) is that enough points on the RPM axis?
b) is that enough points on the Load axis?
c) is it OK if we use the same sized maps for fuel AND timing, AND use the SAME axis's for both?
d) Can someone help me transpose the original maps into the new size? This will require copy/paste and then using ECUFlash's 'Interpolate 2d' to do each little bit...

* obviously I have just copied the stock map in to show the size difference

Looks pretty good Dave, but I would definitely run more timing.

I just jizzed in my pants.

I actually PREFER that the fuel and timing were using he same axis points since I want to tune THAT particular timing/load point to THAT specific fuel amount. God, this will be so sweet. I bet we can really get a lot more out of our tunes with this....keeping the knock monsters at bay.

Oh sweet sweet necter. That is gorgous. Complete tuning or resolution of the ignition map.
So the "Dump Boost on Knock is in the V7 rom, hmmmm, sounds tasty, might need to switch faster then expecting...
Donation on the way.

Yeah I am def going to keep the axis the same.

ie if you change the fuel rpm axis the ignition rpm axis will automatically change too

makes things a tiny bit more simple on my end as well.

btw i'm doing 96530706 first - so if someone wants to be a brave guinea pig let me know

If someone helps me convert my current rom.hex over, i am in. I had a nuts time doing the conversion from stock rom over to the 9417xx15. So help me, and i will be the guinea.

EDIT: Probably not the best guinea now that I think about, I still am not fully tuned. So if you want complete, then someone fully tuned would be the better choice. Just wanted a chance to work with the legend himself.

Tephra, how does this affect maps like the cold start ignition trim map?

also guys - I need feedback on those axis's.

would you like them changed (its easier todo it now, rather than once someone starts remapping the low octance maps)

Just taking a look now.

Fuel map rescaling is fine - the axis is only called one.

Ignition map there are some other table lookup's using the original axis's - not too big a deal I just gotta work out the best way around it

Tephra you are THE man!

For RPM if it is possible, not wanting to push any buttons or anything, on RPM to add enough rows to go to 10,000. With a balanced buschur block, 10k is possible. I have taken mine to 9600 many many many times.... so the resolution would be nice.

im very happy with what you have there, but if it is pretty simple to add a couple more lines, 3 more in the RPM side would be awesome.... IMO I dont see many people going beyond 10,000rpm....

Either way its your time, and what every you are willing to offer is perfect! You have to stop some where or you will end up with like 50 on each axis or something hahaha...

I think this resolution would be my ideal layout so 99% of users wouldn't ever need more resolution, IMO. I know Mellon is one of the highest stock MAF loaded cars right now and he's just at 500 now and like was mentioned, the built engines offered these days can reach 10K RPM. I know this is bigger than will probably be the final product, just wanted to throw it out there
