Tephra,
at the moment I'm not personally interested in using this (but for sure curious), but what can we say? Congratulations for this great work, I think it's really well done.
Thanks for sharing, and for sharing I mean not only the ROM itself but in general your knowledge: it's because of guys like you if communities can also be a place where learn a lot.
Thanks
Just one question: opening the ROM with your xml, I realize that my xml files are not so complete. I mean, I created the xml for ROM 52680022 that inherits from 52680015, but my 52680015 is the standard xml coming with EcuFlash so for example I cannot see the normal "Cranking enrichment IPW adder" table, and so I cannot even see even yours; I cannot even see your "ADC threshold".
So, where can we get the most updated and verified xml file for ROM 52680015 (then all the newer ROMs for this model inherits from it)?
A funny thing: one of the first times I wrote here, I mentioned something about LTFT; Tephra asked me which LTFT I was talking about (idle or cruise) and I answered explaining him WHAT WAS the LTFT... only some days later I realized that I explained what was a LTFT to a person who knew 100x times what I knew on this!

Great work Tephra!
Im assuming that the ALT maps is where one should increase your timing and such say for a meth kit or something similar. Then upon the control switch it INSTANTLY goes back to base map?
And they time delay is only for switching 'TO' the ALT map correct?
Just wanna make sure so I and others don't do it backwards!

+1 about the ADC threshold.... it's another scaling issue with "VoltsADC1023"

Thanks guys
Here is the scaling required for the ADC voltage to show up
I will include that in the 2nd post

Code:
<scaling name="VoltsADC1023" units="Volts" toexpr="x*5/1023" frexpr="x*1023/5" format="%.2f" min="0" max="16" inc="0.05" storagetype="uint16" endian="big"/>

I had one picture that I was able to attach to the forum.
This is the wire used for ADC map switching. This is a White-Black Stripe wire that runs from ECU Pin 115 to the Fuel Temp Sensor harness, right on top of the fuel tank/beside the pump/etc.
The location is right by the trunk/fuel tank lever on the driver side.
I apologize for the horrid quality picture (and the gravel on the floormat), but figured it was better than nothing. If nobody comes up with a proper guide, I'll take some photos and do it properly at the end of the month.
Essentially, cut this wire and ground with a ~250 ohm resistor (I actually used 221ohm because I just had a bunch) with the failsafe on the meth kit of your choice. Follow the wiring diagrams posted by tephra in the second post. Obviously, the cut portion of wire used is the forward portion, the bit still connected to Pin 115 Make sure you use the Resistor ADC Mode, or you'll throw a CEL because the car is confused.
