Missfire

Hey Guys,

Over the weekend i changed my plugs from stock because i was getting a slight missfire every so often, maybe 1 in every 10-12 pulls

So i got BPR8ES and gapped them to 0.6mm (0.024) and it seems to be worse the it was with the stock plugs in the car

I done some reading to maybe gap them to 0.45-0.5mm (0.018-0.020)

What do you think, its only doing it slightly at the moment on Full Boost WOT

I got the same issue going on ..This means your in need for a cop ignition or a dli box..I gaped mine to .19 on my denso ikh24 and it went away but when you have to gap them down that much there a ignition issue..Try the .19 also how much power and boost are you running??

I seen somewhere but cannot find it there was someone selling 4 ignition coil setup for stock ECU i cant remember the vendor but it was pretty cheap i really want to know what its called or a link because if thats my issue then it needs to be done

Just saying though its been running that boost and power for about a month now and it wasnt missfiring while i was tuning

You shouldn't need to buy a COP kit.

Ohm out your Spark Plug Wires. And then Ohm them out when hot. You might have one going bad under Load and HOT.

Also, I would say to take ut the BPR8ES and try to go back to the 7's. Just to see what will change. gap around .22

Ok i put my stock plugs back in the car gapped to 0.5mm (0.019-0.020)

I put my stock ones back in to go back to the stock heat range

The issue is now resolved no more missfire
