Log boost with Autogauge MAP sensor?
Hello everyone,
First of all I am running an evo 7 ecu with Tephra 96532706 patched by ziad.
I have an electronic Autogauge boost gauge with a MAP sensor which reads up to 30psi (3bar?), the manual says it has 5v outputs, can I use this to log boost instead of purchasing a GM map sensor?
If I am able to do so, I realise that I need to run a wire from the map sensor output to the spare ADC on pin 73 on the ecu and just log from evoscan.
How do I know how to adjust the equation in evoscan that converts the readings? Is it as simple as doing a log and adjusting the formula until the reading in evoscan matches the boost gauge? If so, isnt that slightly inaccurate?
Any help would be great.
Cheers, Martin.
