AEM 5 Bar Working/ Units

So I've recently tried SD with my AEM 5 Bar sensor using the modifications int the thread below

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ecuflash/485005-aem-5-bar-map-sensor-compatibility-settings-usdm-8-9-a.html

I'm having a issue with the car not adding enough fuel as the turbo starts to spool. Looking at the difference with the AEM sensor vs something like the omnibar it's no surprise the gains are fairly different.

Has anyone gotten this to work??

My understanding is I want to adjust the MAP vs Load table to calibrate for the different gains?

I’m also having a little issue understanding the units here. The only thing I have to depict how the AEM sensor works is related to it’s output voltage. In most maps I see the Map Sensor output labeled as KpA (and sometimes it’s called Voltage???)

Ok I'm trying to get a base setting to start for initial calibration of my AEM 5 Bar (Map sensor VE table)

Anyone have any idea how to do that? I know the cal table for the 5Bar in voltage and psi I can convert psi into kpa, but I'm am totally lost on the whole ADC 10 bit how it relates to voltage. I'm even more lost on the other types of units I can select.

Help please!!!!

I found this online does it look correct to anyone?

On the right column up your settings at 95 and 119. these directly affect 0" and 0.2 bar respectively. Depending on how lean it is I would say that directly affects how much fuel you need to add. If its a 15.0 right now add 20% and it should richen up something like 3 full points.

Bumping this up. Has anyone figured this out? I'm having the same issue as the OP. Car goes really lean as the turbo spools up. I'm on an SD tune 88592715. I'm sure it's a MAP sensor scaling issue but I am unsure of how the numbers in the AEM 5-bar thread were derived. My car was running fine on an Omni 4 bar MAP sensor. Before anyone asks, the reason why I want to switch is because the Omni 4 bar has left me stranded once and a friend of mine has gone through 3 of them within 7 months. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edited my post. I'm actually on 88592715 SD 2.0 also (accidentally typed 88591715). Did you implement everything in the AEM 5 bar MAP sensor thread successfully? Were there any other tables that you touched to make it work? Reason I ask is becuase I followed all the instructions in that thread and my car was running very rich. I started adjusting the "kpa to load" table and got it to idle fine but now my car goes very lean every time I try to accelerate. I just want to know before I start messing with the 3D VE table again.

i dont remember whats in the thread but the way it all works is a little bit not-intuitive
you need to change the scaling like my second screen shot then adjust the tables i have shown.

from my understanding the way it all works in the 3d version is it uses that volts to kpa table and the volts column scaling is actually the formula that needs to match the sensors, then you adjust that table values to match the kpa values in the other column. its a little weird but it has worked flawlessly for me from the beginning.
i spent a weekend studying the assembly to figure out how it all worked though.

Thanks for your help. I forgot to change the Scaling Manager from Omni 4 Bar to Kavilco 5 Bar.
