Looking for some definitive scaling values for GM IAT
Hey guys,
I've found a lot of conflicting information and values on exactly what the true scaling and values are when using a GM IAT for speed density. I'm currently tuned on SD 1.0 using fuel temp, but I'd like to switch over to using the GM IAT, since it's already in there. I'm just having a bit of trouble finding the exact scalings to ensure this is done correctly and safely.
- In my SD MAT Scaling for IAT Scaling table I have the Data Values set to TempScale, and my Y Axis scaling set to Volts16 - which, I think is correct? I still can't seem to find a definitive answer on exactly what the values are for the sensor, and the correlated temps. If anyone has them, that'd be great, since searching around, I've found about 3 different value ranges posted.
- When switching to the GM IAT, do I also need to change the scaling and values in the 'IAT Scaling' table too?
Thanks for any help/insight on these questions. Truly appreciated!
