First time logger for evoscan

Finally got everything together to log on my 8. What settings should I log for the first time or for always? Aem fuel ratio is setup and working. If you have a list that would be great. 03 evo 8.

Since the logging speed is fixed the more you log at once the slower each item gets logged. So my advice would be to log the things that are relevant to what your doing. If your logging the AEM through serial then you can jut log that all the time. You will probably be logging RPM, Load, TPS, MAP, AFR, Knock Sum, Ignition timing, and IPW(w/ duty cycle) the most. MAF Hertz, LTFT Mid/Low, ISC Position, and coolant temp will be useful for fine tuning. There are other things you can log for specific tuning operations but I think this list should get you going.

Look into the 2-byte load mod, and if you get a taste for ecu modding then look into Tephra V7

Ok. I’ve never logged the car before so I don’t know what it’s doing. I know I have a weird idle when it’s cold. But the car has been modified by the previous owner. So just want to make sure everything is good to go.

as a first over, I would make sure that the tune is relatively knock free and that AFR's and boost are within reasonable values.

Alright. Trying to learn here lol. How do I determine what’s a reasonable value?
