P0137 code and EcuFlash

I know there is a way to to use the Tephra patch to disable the rear O2 sensor from causing the check engine light to come on. In reading one of the threads in the stickied post up top, someone posted this bit of code in one of their patches for the 96940011

<table name="Second O2 VoltageCheck1" category="Misc" address="1d96" type="1D" level="1" scaling="Volts16"/>

Would just putting that in the .xml file somehow allow me to disable the check engine light coming on from the P0137 code?

I'm not exactly sure how to get the Tephra mod to work with my file. I downloaded the right file, but I don't know if I have to put his whole file in the .xml and if so about all the immobilizer stuff.

I just want this damn light to stay off and not screw my car up in the process.

I do have all files I've altered backed up just in case, and I have yet to upload anything into the car.

Any help is appreciated. Hopefully I don't get flamed too much for this.

For reference, this is the thread I got the code from, and the post is # 4

Hmm...I answered my own question already after reading the thread I linked a little more. Oops. It looks like that bit of code was just found while disassembling another ROM and isn't a direct way to disable the o2 sensor.

So...I guess what will be the easiest way? Back to tephra mod?

Set the following periphery bits to zero:

P0, bit 01
P2, bit 01
P4, bit 15

Works for me.

edit: oops, car threw a P0421 after warmup today, it does not fix it. curse...

Do I set up those tables with a portion of the code from this post?

May have answered my own question after all.
