Whats up guys. I guess this thread is for the military folks out there. Getting closer to my PCS and it looks like I'll be either going to 2nd SCR or Bragg. I've never spent any time in Vilseck but I'm all to familiar with GTA and HTA, lol. Any info you can give me on the housing situation would be great. And if you're in the Regiment, any info about the unit would be welcome as well. Feel free to PM me.

 

im in vilseck now. housing is pretty rough if you are looking for private rental (off the economy). housing on post is pretty scarse also. i live in a private rental in vilseck, but i got here pretty early. if you live on post, you are most likely going to be in graf. your best bet would be govt leased. they still have spots available pretty close to post. as for the unit, it all depends on what squadron you are in. whats your mos? that will depend on where you go. other than that, its pretty fun. the weather has been nice. we have barely gotten any snow, and i finally got to take my motorcycle out the past few days. and its only supposed to get better. if you have any other questions, you can pm me or just post on here. good luck on your trip over.
