Gerrit, do you have any pics of your rollcage? I'll probably go to the Ring on the WE again, the way it looks on Sunday, are you going?

Michael

unfortunately I can only take the week off when you're in Japan But when exactly does the 24h races takes place because I'd fancy watching it. Very interesting this year Ralliart EVO vs. Recaro EVO!

Gerrit

hope you're around. Will definitely visit you if you're around. We could even do a Boeman's run to compare the cars on the rollers.

Looking forward to the Green Hell

Cheers

Mike

Thumbs up

Gerrit

great news

Didn't Claudius use this tyre size with good results? With loads of negative camber it should work. Or fit the Pirelli Corsas, the road-legal semi-slicks in the standard size for a try.

I need to fiddle around the car a bit before I come. More camber at the front, hope to have the lower braces fitted till then. Suspension is definitely on the cards as with the standard suspension and the current power it just lights up the rear wheels when going out of second gear corners and eats the front tyres till they melt. Maybe some Pirelli Corsas as intermediate solution. Unfortunately I haven't heard anything from Guido yet. Need to resolve the rear brake problems soon.

Cheers

Mike

The 24h race and all the support events are on the 29.5.-1.6. I think. Yes, it should be interesting to see the two Evos compete, although I think the Ralliart Evo will have better drivers overall (no offense Gerrit) as they are all pros or near-pros. I'm really interested in how their diffs will do, although last year they said the car was 90% standard, which was very far from the truth, so I think it will be the same this year and something which they call the standard diff might be something very different...

I want to make it down there on Sunday too, if I come, I'll come later anyway because of the crazy traffic that can be expected at the NS again. I think it's VLN again on Friday and Saturday, so everybody will come on Sunday.

My GSM will be on this time!

Changed the front hubs: very easy.
