Moving to Italy
I've been through there a couple times on leave and never see any evo's...It's been about a year since i went there so maybe 1 or 2 pcs'd in but the outlook is not so good....Aviano doesn't really have a car scene at all, the roads are great to drive through the mountains but the surrounding area is all about the motorcycles. Hopefully you find some guys to hang with though and atleast you can plan some weekend trips to the ring

damn, for real, i was hoping for some kind of race scene over there. i guess im gonna be the fastest thing over there. thanx for the info REX, i hope things have changed.

koo, im arriving Aug 19, ill send you a pm, how many evo's r in this club. and how r the rally gravel racing? I've dragged and autocrossed but nuffin like that.

Ill be in Naples, italy soon. I should be transferring there early next year as soon as i get back from Iraq. i sold my evo ix gsr before i left, but i was either going to buy another ix MR, or possibly the new X, but there seems to be a lot problems with the X like stuttering, weak clutch that cant hold more than 350lbs tq.
NICO, Is there a reasonably good place to buy an evo in italy, this way i wont have to pay the huge sales tax over here in the states? Also, im looking forward to attending the WRC. i attended in 05 and 06, and cant wait for more.
Also. what part of Italy are you at? and are there any good rally schools?
