JDM bumper

Has anyone here tried to go to a dealership here and get a JDM bumper? Wonder what the cost will be now that the dollar is getting better.

your best bet is probably going to be to purchase from the states and have them ship to a local FedEx depot. a guy that was stationed here had a full IX kit shipped to the brussels airport and he just rented a Vito and picked it up.

I called a local Mitsu dealer at it was 1,000 Euro's painted, they don't offer GG in Germany WTF! And, from what I have been told the box is to big for an APO/FPO shipping

I hear you have to ship it snail mail freight.

Yeah I agree, modding a car here is pretty limited. I think the paintwork was like 200 Euros??

Ya but it would be a bit easier if we had German cars.

What dealership was that??

The guy in Baumholder Dealership told me 450Euros!! last year..

But it will be Rally Red.. and painting it was quoted at another 400 EU from a guy he goes through painting stuff..

I remember Gruppe-s quoted me like 1100 shipped to my door by some freight company they use to ship worldwide. I think it might be cheaper if they sent it over to the FED EX in Frankfurt and then you go pick it up..

I stopped into the dealership in Landstahl today, they said a 2006 German spec cover is 374 euro but it only comes in white and needs to be painted. Is the German one the same as a JDM one?

well i think that depends, but Im pretty sure it is,cause all the new germans ones are the jdm one that we would buy.Like redline said,in baumholder the dealership is so helpful, cause theres no one with the evo but me and redline. And he will get you whatever you need in 2days top.And he has a partnership with the paint shop, will have it done in no time.and it is correct,GG was not made in germany, only the us,japan, and UK.So you would have too get either white,or black, and have it painted. Also you can get them shipped too the airport and pick the parts up,and or look at the german evo site soo see if anyone has them forsale, there are wrecked evos there also.

Boy, I wish I could buy a JDM bumper for my TB Evo IX MR, but it's too expensive here in the U.S. I guess I'll just settle with my stock USDM bumper...
