Actual Exhaust Numbers

I was wondering if anybody had evidence of power loss or difference in numbers within these different situationsall in 3in pipe)
1. tbe with only a fart can
2. tbe with hi-flow cat and fart can
3. tbe with hi-flow cat, resonator, and a fart can

tbe without a cat would flow the greatest. not sure on the numbers because every brand is different.

second would be number 2. (no resonator equals less restriction)

^+1 i agree. If you don't want the test pipe use the high flow cat. Without resonator will flow the best

i have 3" pipe from turbo.....out the back to a gutted HKS muffler.


anytime there is less restriction will yeild HP gains.

remeber..........the best exhaust for a turbo is none.

Start from the back end of the car and move forward. The straighter & smoother the flow the more HP you will make and the louder the car will be

i put the perrin tbe on the other day. i've got to say you evo owners are so lucky! the car isn't loud at all, all it has is a fart can! i mean i don't think it sounds as good, deep and throaty but, with my ms3, running just a muffler, the car is so loud, i can't even think.

Last summer, I went from 514hp to 533hp by gutting the hi-flo cat.
