80mm FP Red/93 Octane-400whp/325wtq

This week was flooded with FP Red builds. Here is another nice Evo 9 I finished building and performed a pump gas 93 Octane tune on. Great parts and great power for 27psi and pump gas on our dyno with a (.995 CF)

Mods:

80mm FP Red
Cosworth M2 Cams
Ets 4" IC w/ Piping
Invidia o2 housing
Full Tbe
Intake
Hallman Pro Mbc
Precision 1200 CC Injectors
255 lph Fuel pump
27psi/93 Octane

Tuned by myself

Good #s, are those injectors a little to big for pump gas or are they fine? Deciding how big of injectors to get when i get the fp black this winter.

Yeah really, what about the ic piping?
I have 880 injectors...Why 1200 injectors? Meth in the future?

1200's are fine for stock ecu with correct scalings. E-85 for future

Forgot to add in Ets 4" IC w/ piping, and Invidia o2 housing!!!

We will be adding a Bosch 044 inline pump for more fuel as well.

Customer's goal is high 10's on the stock bottom end next season w/ E-85.

I see in your other thread on a customer's evo X you were running a little more power with a red and the same supporting mods.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ph-inside.html

It was a slightly higher boost though. Are you more comfortable running higher boost on the the X then then the IX on pump gas? The CF also was slightly different so I don't know if that plays a huge role or not. Was running out of fuel and issue?

Yes, if you search around a little bit you will see that these setups easily make 500whp on a dynojet between 29-31psi all day long. We have used correction here and there in the past when asked to compare to a dynojet but feel the criticism is not worth it anymore so now all my tunes will be .996-1.0CF and I will always post a picture of the CF.

This particular customer only wanted 400whp on a 1.0CF w/ 93 Octane.

To answer your question I can run more timing on the Evo X's and It's always nice to have dual mivec as well. Boost is not an issue, most of the time we can run up to 30psi on 93 Octane with no issues but we always leave some room on the table in case you pick up a bad tank of gas. An extra 20-30whp is not worth it unless you want to see a rod or 2 in your rear view

Ok so the 4b11 allows you to be a little more aggressive with your tuning.
