Well it shows the turbo can easily make more power than the stock block can handle so I would say thats good. It isnt like the turbo blew the motor because it is not big enough!

Nice, unbiased observation. Good post, Carlos! Incidentally, when you rode in the HTA Green IX, was it running on pump, or race gas?

Look at post #19(member Buchnerj) https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ei-arms-2.html

MY original comment wasn't meant as a slam on the HTA green.......I like it, its just that I find it odd for the short amount of time the FPBlack has been out and even for a prototype turbo such as this I find it odd there is such a lack of information on the HTA Green which has been out longer then both turbo's I just spoke about.....makes me wonder. I have no doubt there are a ton of HTA green's.....but where are the threads about them....I've lost count of the amount of FP Black threads and GST/CBRD has done a decent job leaving us wanting more info about the next offering CBRD has (Well maybe another word for it is torture) but comparatively there is ZERO info on the FP green which is going to get compared to this turbo.

+1!

I have been searching and scowering the internet, but there is only 1 e85 station in my remote area and it's like 20+miles away..... one way! Given the decrease in gas mileage e85 provides you with, it's not very convenient.

I can't wait to see results.

Keep up the awesome work B!

The car has all the supporting mods and is not running full boost, it is set at around 23 psi on 91oct gas. I was giving the chance to drive this Evo IX MR (SE) and I paid attention to the boost gauges.

I did nothing but drive the car from the 3000 rpm to 7000ish rpms in various gears just to test the response/turbo lag, I did this several times on the access road just so that I can compare the spool up with a similar bolt on Evo with stock turbo(mine).

I did a quick search thru the thread, is this car using the FIC EZtune? If not, how hard were injectors that big to tune on stock ecu? Any idea on how these would behave on Pump Gas? Thanks Bryan

Hey Devin,

No Eztune needed with the BlueMaxes. They are MUCH better then the rochestor based FIC/PTE green bodied injectors.

Work just fine on pump gas as well as E85. I've tuned BlueMax 1250, 1450 and 1550 so far with no issues.

by that comment are you saying comparison to HTA green or normal green? bbk full is 47lb isn't it or am I mistaken? I probbaly am mistaken as I'm already logging 47lb/min 2byte without having tuned it even. Would you say the normal bbk is close to 54lb/min?

Old-School Green moved exactly 47 lbs. The BBK compressor definitely moves more air. I think, offhand, that it is about 52-54, if I am not mistaken. Someone else will chime in hopefully

ill post a link if i find it again, but i read that info somewhere. iirc the bbk full flows more air than a green, less than a red. the 52-54 numbers that sparky threw out ring a bell, but i cant remember exactly.. hopefully i can pull up the same dyno i found in the past.

maybe its the bbk lite that flows 47lb/min, burnzy?
