2003 Stage III Evo 8 - 345 TQ - 353 WHP

This is a car that has been running my tune for some time and with 60 K miles the customer elected to do the usual 60 K service and install some cams, I recomended the GSC S1 which are grounbd in the USA and which seem to have no knock or resonance issue with stock valve springs

Mods on car

AMS FMIC - standard and lower fmic pipe
3" Turbo back exhuast with test pipe resonated
Gredy EBC
Walbro Fuel Pump
GSC S1 cams
Injen Intake and upper fmic pipe
Spark Tech non cdi ignition

Dyno Flash custom tune

93 octane

A very nice running and dependable daily driver combo

Those dips are when the tach signal cuts out due to movement of the engine

I'd be very happy with that considering the mileage and 9.8 hotside. I wonder how much of a difference the Sparktech setup made? I'm planning on going with a similar setup w/o the sparktech and with a set of HKS 272's hopefully i can be in the 330 range.

At this power level the spark tech is of no advantage assuming that your coils and oem plug wires are functional. I personally prefer the HKS twin fire. When you start pushing 500 whp that is when an ignition becomes more critical.
