FP Black Numbers - BR Dyno

Dropped the car off to get a front dif fixed and I thought, what the heck, I'll upgrade my turbo too. I went from a Green running on E-85 to a FP Black running on pump 93. I wanted a race gas tune too but I'm still on the stock ignition and I also need to upgrade my bov since it's not holding more then 32psi so I stuck with 93 until the upgrades are complete.

Final numbers were 444whp and 409 torque. Not too shabby for 29psi and 93 pump. I'm very happy with the tune and the car pulls great. I don't feel much of a difference in lag from the green but I'm sure there's probably a little there. I haven't scanned the graph yet but will early next week. The tuning was completed on the BR Dyno. Thumbs up to David B. for a GREAT tune!

Man, I can't wait for the track!

Thanks for reading.
Mike

I'm not sure. I try not to compare dynos since I've only used this one to compare my upgrade results. In my opinion, this one reads a bit low then what I've seen in threads but who knows. I just know that the car feels quite scary when I hit it, I actually have to make sure I'm holding on to the wheel pretty darn tight! I'm hoping for a low 11's or high 10's when the track opens but I'm not the best driver. I'd be happy with an 11.2!

That's 500 whp on a dynojet br's dyno read really low my guess will be a 10.9 to 10.8 at 128 mph..I bet u you'll will hit 11.1 all day long great power from david like always i have the same turbo and upgraded from the baby red turbo. This turbo when it hits it hits pulls harder and longer then the red a bit more laggy but nothing to really complain about...lol,

Thats alot of torque ironically. Are you on a 2.0L stg3? That is like 2.3 torque, with the 35r sized wheel I would have thought you would be more around 400ft lbs. What was the numbers for your green on E85 to compare?

Yes, can you please list your mods.
I have a FP Black and my numbers are dissapointing.

440whp/400wtq Mustang Dyno on E85 @31 psi
2.2L Cossworth
Stock Head w/ SuperTech Valves
M2
Titek O2 housing
BlackOps Double Pumper
1450 FIC
Ported FP Black
Ported Exhaust Manifold
Crushed BOV Evo IX
WORKS Down Pipe
WORKS HFC
WORKS Exhaust

The tq keeps climbing up but the top end flats out. It seems something is restricting the top end.

After few tanks of E85, I went back for re-tune with added mods: Sun Hyper Force, RRE Rally Cat (we think the HFC restricts the top end), and Speed Density.

The results: 451whp/418wtq on E85 @ 31.7 psi (the top end flats out just like the prior tune). @ this point, I have no idea what else that may restrict the top end. All I can think of is maybe the WORKS muffler, the BOV not holding boost, and maybe the cams. If anyone has any input, please let me know. I'm going to give it a last try on Monday. Please shoot me an email (strokerevo8@gmail.com). Thanks in advance.

to remove cat and mass and only gain 11whp/18tq you have some other problem going on. maybe your blow off valve is leaking. that could easily pinch 40hp.
