I know the weight. Mustang tells you to use this weight as well as that HP@50. It is correct for "mustang" numbers if this makes sense.

I know, I just didn't add the &meth part. Sorry. lol Then to get a fair DJ add 13%, 585. Then if you want a closer estimate of what it would be at sea level on a dynojet add 10%, 643. So basically at the original CF it is reading like a dynojet at sea level.

Yeah, I have always wondered why mustang has the incorrect weight for cars. Just the way their dyno works I suppose.

This should be put as a disclaimer in the first post.

No wonder people don't give a crap about dyno numbers with you people fudging up numbers with correction factors. You are running a turbo car STOP USING ALTITUDE CORRECTION FACTORS!

There is a correct correction factor unfortunately the dyno operators don't buy everything they need to get the correct CF. I talked to a DJ rep and he said that if they used all of the sensors that they offer they would get closer to actually correction factors. He said that it is closer to 10% rather than the 20%+ that most shops use. I personally HATE correction factors.

But in their, tobz, defense, if someone came to him with more mods compared to a friend and dynoed less than him. That person might not understand how CFs work and ask why his car is low on power. Not every person is smart enough to understand when they are being lied to. There are plenty of examples on here about this from former vendors. It's a shame.

Great job with the build Tobz and Mitch

just want to make it clear that the dyno is set up by Mustang and nothing was touched after. Mustang actually says to run the correction factor. i know alot of people are against this but its what mustang says to do. there are no sensors or anything that were left out, its exactly how mustang would want it to be set up. before people start to jump to conclusions, call mustang and they will explain all of this to you. also, you can always figure out uncorrected numbers.
