You will lose a LOT of money selling this car. If you decide to sell parting it out and selling stock is the best way to recoup the most money although it will still be a HUGE loss.

Seems thats what happens to a lot of people after a big build, they end up selling it.

If you don't mind me asking what took the build so long?

I may doing something similar here in the near future.

It's because doing huge builds from scratch eats a ton of time. Then you usually end up facing more work to correct minor things and with how much down time the car has had + cash put in, it becomes a justified decision to sell.

"Well I've dropped $30k the car has been in pieces for 6 months and now its going back under the knife...well f*ck"

That and some people get their jollies from the build and anticipation, once things are done, they enjoy it for a month or two then move on to the next project.

well said SDevo13, i rather sell my evo now, put all the money actually towards paying off my daily driver and getting out of the car scene for awhile...

You will regret this financially and emotionally. Losing money on a build sucks, losing money on something you dont have anymore really sucks. At least if you have the car there is some payback for the money spent and time spent. Just having debt or losing $ and having nothing to show for it is DUMB. Paying off the daily driver is also not a good idea. Sell the daily, buy a POS for a daily and keep the evo. Having an expensive daily is dumb. Selling a car at a huge loss after such a huge investment of time and $$ is just as dumb.
