I thought the IX injectors were the same as the VIIIs... 560cc. Am I wrong on that?

 

I thought this thread was gonna be locked as theres already a huge thread to aske how much hp will my setup make.

 

they are LOL dont mind that. Get PTE 1000cc or Fic 1050cc and you can scale them of course you will be fine with those for awhile until your ready to start making real power. and actually make the injectors do work

 

mods are humans they don't catch everything so us as nice members should just help out with advice anyways. if your going to continue to be negative in the thread don't post as the op is learning and does not need clutter just good hard information for his particular question

Thanks boss . I always try to help new members hints why i get spammed pmed lol but i remember what it was like to be new and just need a friend or some guidance so you dont waste money on pointless parts some type of guide and its nice to read a 30 page essay on modding for dummies but maybe i only have a question about body kits and turbo selection i can get more in dept information by asking a specific question then just reading a old post that is either missing current information or very bland in wording so i dont mind helping

I have a similar setup, untuned, going to Boomba Racing on Friday. I'm swapping out my Megan turbo manifold(came with the car) and putting on a stock mani ported by Buschur.

I can't wait to get it installed and then go for my tune. I hope to hit similar numbers to the wheels .

There is a good question. Will IX injectors fit an VIII? My buddy is getting ready to tune his VIII, but needs injectors. Will my IX injectors fit in his car?

 

wow i dont know the answer for that one but one quick look up of any site that sales injectors for evos do not state for evo 8 only type deal. I would assume yes there interchangeable as the only difference is mivec in the head and turbo upgrade enginewise everything else is interchangeable.

 

the injectors are the same for 8 and 9. so your injectors will fit his, no problem.

 

YO kevin can you tune a AEM ecu evo for our climate?? if so how much if we drive 3 hours your way. Have a friend just moved from mexico and his fully built evo is acting crazy and your the closest to him needs to be retuned

 

Ok cool. So are the VIII and the IX injectors the same size, or are the IX's slightly bigger? He just wont have the cash to spend 3 to 4 hundred on injectors, so if the IX are bigger I can just give them to him for free so he can save a few bucks.
