Jestr Tune bolt-on evo8

Wus sup evom... jus thought i'd share my results with you guys...
Car: 2003 Evo 8GSR (139k)
Mods: TBE/Intake/MBC/NGK SparkPlugs

I decided to call jestr tuning this morning to see what i could get out of my daily driver... Awesome enough they were able to schedule me for a session today at 3pm... Took a drive down to Titan Motorsports... (supra heaven) and had my car strapped down... 3hours later i left there with +77hp and +117tq...

over-all my car feels like a whole new beast... i was advice to upgrade my fuel pump because my factory one had reached its flowing limit... boost was set at 26-27psi on the factory 9.8 turbo... i will also add some s2 cams and exedy clutch to the mix... hooping to hit 320whp on this set-up...

Congrats on your numbers that's really good for that turbo and mods..I always hear good things about john aka jester..Yes that best level is okay for a 8 turbo..

Wait till you put gsc 2 cams make sure you do the bee hives springs to take full advantage of the cams.Your looking at 20 whp easy from them just make sure you get a 255 pump.

the pulls were done on 93oct... titan motorsports installed a dna mbc right then and there to hold off my boost, somewhere around 280-285whp the car started breaking up... so a set of new ngk sparkplugs were dropped in (needless to say the ones on the car were really worn out) after that the car pulled couple 300+whp runs but at the end we decided to keep her at 295...

He also said that for a car with so many miles it has aged really well... clutch held and everything went great with no probs... all in all... great guy, awesome tune brand new beast to drive...

right on bro, that's exactly where the car should be. I made almost those exact numbers with those same mods. I bumped up to about 330whp when I added crappy hks cams. Add a few other bits in there, like a ported manifold or an o2 housing and you will easliy see 330-340 with the s2 cams added in. looking good
