Well, here ya go

Ya guys done made me angry

I put all of my effort into this tune since the disbelief of the tune and car. I'm pretty sure this is one of those "freak" evo's running around out there. I've only seen one other evo that was capable of taking to this tune with no knock.

Let me be very specific with everything since there were so many disbelievers...

Mods:
MAP O2 eliminator DP heat wrapped
ETS air intake/pipe
Ultimate Racing test pipe
Works custom exhaust...no resonator or muffler
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Grimmspeed 3 port boost solenoid
Omni 4 bar map sensor
Works DV

Stock IC, IC plumbing, long block, turbo, IM, Tbody, and exhaust manifold... Ie, NEAR BONE STOCK EVO 8

I have the proper weight of passengers this time and all that jazz for the corrected dyno....not that it matters

Once again, I implemented V7, gear based boost control, etc.
This pull and the other pull were done on Exxon 93oct. I turned up the boost a few psi to really prove a point, because I knew there was more in this car.

Enjoy the crappy cell phone pics of this beautiful car, dyno graphs, and logs.

Edit... accidentally posted the uncorrected twice.

Here's the corrected.. By the way, notice I trimmed the RPM short on the chart even though the pull went longer than that

Here's a pic of the chart with the RPM ending the same time as the log...didn't want to post this one due to the up-ramp at the end. But whatever.

NEAR BONE STOCK EVO 8
Good job on proving it is a freak evo, but it is VERY VERY far from "stock" and VERY far from "near stock". IMHO, "near stock" would be a walbro, a MBC/3port and a tune.

If a cop pulled you over in CA, you'd be getting tickets.

The bone stock reference was in regards to the MANY other simple upgrades that are possible.

Half the mods are for reliability and tuning. Exhaust and intake for what it's worth... That's pretty close to stock IMO.

EDIT:
Also notice if you could the difference in the first graph posted and and the final result. The smoothness of the power delivery now is perfect and there are no dead spots at all. I hope the owner of the vehicle chimes in to attest to the "reliable winter tune" to the "now I'm angry and I'll show you" tune. Yes, the car has a very nice assortment of parts, but..... there has to be somebody to extract the power from the thing....

I'm almost feeling the need for a famous Rodney Dangerfield quote here....

Still waiting for the skeptics to chime in here.

WOW!! My new tune is AWESOME !

lan_evo_mr9 - Thanks for the AWESOME tune!! I just can't say enough about how smooth the car runs throughout the entire RPM range and it pulls hard!

One mod you may have forgotten to list is the AEM wideband, which should be obvious to many as it's required to collect the Air/fuel ratio data.

All I can say is the next time you post a graph with my data I sure hope other members here doubt you because your "I'll show you" tune is sick!!

I'm sure I would get lots of tickets in CA with this set up!! Fortunately, it's not my daily driver, just a weekend car that only comes out under the cover of darkness.

Finally, the Dangerfield quote I was looking for in not so many words.
Maybe if I became a sponsor it would help my credibility?

Sorry for the words...gotta few beers in me at this point.

Not hard to accomplish over there...lowered car may get you a ticket. CA is a world of it's own when it come's to that s41t.

there must be something not right with your car if it took 27psi to get to 295. on my car at 26psi my numbers on the dyno up here in NC put down 390whp and 380tq for dynojet, on mustang dyno it put down 347whp and 333tq. im not trying to start a fight here but that just seems low for that much boost.

OP, good job with the tune. Glad to see the owner is enjoying the car!
