Did he steal your lunch money, or do you always just have something negative to say? For reference, this setup won the street tire redline time attack last year so while you say lag, I and others say learn to shift.

If you want to make big power you have to create lag.
Lag is not fun for a street car. but this is clearly not a street car.
So it wasnt meant to be an insult. Maybe more of a warning to those who drive their car on the street and are enamored with drag race power bands. Then they make poor choices for their street car as a result.
