im sure the displacement and higher CR helps a good amount. but that does seem a little high. why is the vehicle weight entered as 3500lbs?

The car weighs 3263lb with half a tank of gas on calibrated local government scales. I weigh 235lb so that is 3498 before the extra 25+litres of fuel or kit/ laptop/tool box i normally take out with me. I even used GPS and a gear speed calculator to check the ratios are correct.

The tune gets finished of on the 4th May on a DynoDynamics, I've found a Dynojet with in about 2 hours drive (there are only two 4wd Dynojets in the UK) I can't seem find a Mustang dyno atm. But we do have a local Dynapack i can get it on.

Does seem strange to me that a guy in the US can grab 436whp on Buschur's Mustang Dyno (500+ on a Dynojet at your recognised 13% difference) with a 2.0 and similar mods on 93oct and you guys are all

Surely tuners outside the USA with 20+ years experience tuning 89 to 93oct can't be that good ???.... obviously not

Maybe i should of just been happy with the lesser 460hp and not chased the extra 40+ for 3 years and saved the $k's

Terribly sorry for putting a cup of English tea on your American coffee table.

no need to get offended, it's just that your numbers are very high for that setup. The average car here on 93 octane will see about 430awhp (dynojet) with a stock short block and head. I can see your ported bits would help. It would require race gas/e85 and much higher boost to get anywhere 500awhp typically around here. So it's only natural for people to be shocked at your numbers.

I'd be happy to vouch for your numbers if you could supply a 3rd gear pull on flat ground from 2500-8000rpm. I'll run it through my own VD and can confirm that what you're seeing is accurate.

Cool Mellon Racing – EVO 9 GSR * 98 RON @ 27 psi HTA GREEN - JUN CAMS

Location: France
EVO 9 GSR 5-speed
RC 1000 Injectors

AMS FMIC Apexi Power Intake, FP 80mm pipe

The very basic HTA Green on the very loved Jun 272 camshafts throw some 98 Ron and 432hp is what we got to squeeze out of it , the customer requested that we tune the car for him to use it a the track wich involves over 15 minutes of punishment .

yep, we just wrapped up the tune on a local with a 2.3 + FP HTA Green, it did 430awhp and 430tq on 93 octane. with mild HKS 272 cams at only 25psi
