Diiirk@AWD Motorsports Evo IX.. 620whp FP Black, SD, E85!!!

With all the customer cars i do at the shop, i rarely get time to work on my own car. I had a little spare time this morning to throw my car on the dyno while i wait for an out of town customer to arrive.

My car hasnt been on the dyno in quite some time, last time on the dyno it was still running on the MAF on 42.8 psi. It made right at 600. Since then i have converted the car to SD and added a BR COP ignition. This time around the results were rather impressive...

@4500 there are +50wtq gains, as well as 20+whp through the whole powerband.

Here is the old graph vs the new graph.

I tried to get the boost to match, but with 1.5 more turns on the mbc, the boost didnt change and the mbc maxed out.

On the street the car gets 42 psi, which is probably why vdr shows...

Mod List..

Fpblack
BR 2.0
BR Double Pumper
BR Intake Mani/65mm TB
BR COP
BR Upper/Lower IC Pipes
BR 3.5 in Street Fmic
BR 3" TBE
Invidia O2 housing
GSC S2 Cams
Ferrea +1mm Oversized Vavles
Supertech Dual valve springs
Pte 1200's
Aeromative FPR
Agency Power fuel rail
Hallman MBC

People have asked what the car should run, and to give an idea, here is my old fpgreen graph that took me to 10.7 @ 128 vs my new graph...

Nice dude! SD made me fall in love with my evo8 all over, the car runs and drives soooo much nicer! To see gains like this to go along with it is nothing short of awesome!

Now get back out there and keep enjoying it

Im using it as a daily driver right now. So nothing too crazy for now. Ive never really had the urge to go t3, i know i can easily get the car to 700+, but the powerband of this setup is just too much fun for the street.

I have been tempted to run it at the track lately. I just dont have any tires at the moment, not going to waste my time on street tires. If i can get ahold of some slicks or radials il make a pass.

Good stuff Diiirk! Is it true what they say about SD that you need to retuned the car everything the weather changes?

I would love to see a 9 sec pass. Cars have done it with less power on our dyno, but my car is heavy.
To give you an idea, with the 466 powerband i ran 10.7 @ 128 mph

@7000rpm the car has ~170 hp more. at 8k, i can image its probably 200+ more

Not in my experience. I have had SD cars go through summer and winter with no problems so far. Large altitude changes tend to make a bit of a difference though. Something that doesnt apply to us
