KevinD Tuned Evo8 - Old School Green

This is from March but I figured better late than never...

Mods are:

Old School FP Green
Comp 280s
Full Race Pro-Stock Manifold
FIC 1050cc Injectors
DW fuel Pump
All the usual bolt-ons
KevinD Tuned at 27PSI on E85

Stock block and stock tranny on an Exedy twin clutch

The car was dynoed at Hennessy Motorsports in Houston,TX during TX2k11. Their dyno wasnt reading torque for some reason and it was prob 100+ in that dyno area but it was fun and I JUST reached my goal for this green. Car dynoed 450awhp on a Dyno Dynamics Dyno.

I bet. That is a good power level that is fast and has plenty of traction in the lower gears.

we wanted to get it to at least 30psi but we kept having some issues with the car not liking it and timing issues also...the 450 pull was with a lot of timing taken out...KevinD ironed out a lot of problems with the car but it was already 1230am so we called it a night the week before Texas...The car met my goal though so i havnt been in too big of a hurry to push it further

I have about identical mods but no E85 and am getting it tuned this friday, about how much less hp should i expect if anyone knows? and would 30psi be safe on a stock evo block? i am running about 28.5psi right now but only form of a tune is an AEM tru boost.

i ran 28-29 on my old school green on 93 pump for about 4 years. it didnt fail due a to a bearing as an fyi. remember dynos can vary so its hard to quantify how much less you would have compared to the OP, also each car is different. see my sig for what i got on my set up. this was in about 45 degree temps so that can vary too depending on temps.
