Boostin Performance - Tom's Evo 9 - aka "The Twin"

This is Tom's (tmd1183) daily driven Evo 9. Tom recently switched over from the Subaru world, and we're happy to have him aboard! He recently came to our shop stock, and since then, we've got him headed in the right direction - 414hp and 375 tq . The car is hitting a peak of 28psi, tapering slightly to redline.

2006 Evo 9 STOCK TURBO (5 speed)
ETS Intercooler kit w/ all piping
ETS Intake
MAP External Dump
Walboro 255
FIC 1050cc injectors
Kelford 272 cams
Kelford valve springs
ARP head studs
EGR plate
Grimmspeed BCS
Exedy Clutch
E85 tune

Virtual Dyno - 414HP/375 torque on the stock turbo

btw, nice color evo! lol

Dang, 29psi and holding to 27.5psi at 7000? That sounds like no tapering at all. I just ordered my Grimmspeed 3 port the other day and installing it immediately haha

Thanks everyone.

Tom, I'm glad you're happy with the car.

Boost hits just under 2 bar and does tapper a little bit more then 1.9 bar, but I'm glad you're watching the road and not your boost gauge at 7K .

The grimmspeed does help boost tapper, that's why I like using them, especially on E85 cars

Devin
