I kinda figured that looked like Pures dyno setup thats the reason why you didn't hit 500 they tune very very conservitive. I will tell you beware of them tring to blow smoke up your *** telling you that your car needs there parts to make more hp dont buy that crap. I could go on and on about them but not my place to. I myself had bad experience and was very unhappy with there tune.

so the car makes more HP on pump gas at 26psi then it does at 32psi on 110 octane race fuel??????

I have my stories about this shop. I will not bash them cause its not right they are a good shop I guess but I was very disappointed in my tune after I spent over 1200 bucks. Dont buy any of there parts, you car should make more then 500 hp on race gas with what you have. Don't buy into any of that

Whats with the race gas tune??? if you can't get over 500 on race with that set up.....or at least beat your pump gas tune, then something is up.

I am still tuning mine. When I was there with my old sstI wanted 400 wheel, and basically I made 375 with meth. I knew that the tune couldn't be right being others were making alot more power. Had tscompusa tune my car with the sst I made 400 hp with basically a base tune or whatever I had at the time. my goal is 500 pump and somethin aroudn that on e85 for now till I can build my motor.

Is that AFR 7.3?? I don't know if this is the case here, but I've seen dyno operators not realise that the dyno is usually what is responsible for creating the AFR reading - there is no way for it to know how much fuel is in there, which is why the dyno software will be loaded with a stoich value for whatever fuel you are tuning to, naturally thats normally 14.68.

If there is any chance the dyno operator didn't realise that, swapped the petrol for E85 then started targetting 9.76 as stoich and ~7.3:1 for peak power (which is fine for E85) when the software was still configured for petrol, then its running RIDICULOUSLY rich.... ie ~.4 lambda instead of ~.75.

I have no reason to think that this particular tuner would do that, I just noticed the AFR and have seen misconceptions of this kind of thing before - so thought it worth mentioning. If you fuel requirements over the pump gas tune is 1.3-1.4x then it's probably fine, if its nearer twice what it was on pump gas then thats a solid hint

I was thinking the same thing.

Goto a new shop, those guys are making less with more boost and better fuel.

Noobs for sure.

We really need more information to tell you whats up... Timing maps and fuel maps with logs attached would help a lot. Sounds like they are either having a phantom knock issue on the race gas map or are scared to throw timing at it... You should be easy over 500 whp with your setup on that turbo.
