The final product! 650whp Evo Dynamics built Evo VIII

I am extremely happy with this much awaited build from Evolution Dynamics. I dropped the car off Jan 1st and picked it up in May. I want to thank Kevin and everyone at Evo dynamics for their hard work. We had a couple of small issues to work out early on but Kevin was great about helping get everything dialed in! Thanks again!

Continuing the trend of excessive money spent on builds and barely enjoying them before being sold/returned to stock.

No disrespect intended. Its just a really interesting trend I see happen more and more.

I agree but in a different aspect... people with decent income dump money into their cars instead of their savings and when the economy hits them they have no choice but to turn the car back to stock so they can still manage while attempting to get out of the hole they just fell in.

This is the graph from the last time I was down in the dfw. I am 5hrs away and have to trailer to and from each time. Its on Kahns heartbreaker mustang which also had a faulty eddy current at the time. We were unable to get an accurate read out. We were having an issue with a boost spike and a power drop around 7500ish. Kevins thinking is the stock coils, while not misfiring, are unable to keep up with a combination of the forge dv not holding as well. I have yet to bring it back to test the issue. As far as selling it, haha, I dont have to as my business is not affected much, if any at all by the economy! I had a potential business opertunity arise for sometime after the first of the year. If it sells, great. if not, great! I have had some time to enjoy the car and continue to enjoy it on a day to day basis! It is currently my primary daily and it never ceases to put a grin on my face!

It is not a trend for me, rather a passion for building and driving. Its my second build in 2yrs the first being my mini cooper done by mynes performance! Its all in good fun!

It is SD

Great parts list. I love the spark plug cover. Nice touch. What are you looking to sell the car for?

Do you believe that a coil-on-plug system and a better BOV (i.e. Tial) will do the trick?
