+1, all you need is a wideband, straight flat road, a little patience and a little computer saviness and you're good to go.

i was gonna say.. ive tuned around a dozen or so evos from Canada. if your local tuner doesn't give you the results you want you can always do a remote tune.

The tune in this thread was done remotely.. and you dont really need to be all that computer savvy when working with me.. i will remote into your computer and set everything up.

its the difference from someone knowing how to use ecu boost vs someone that just punches in stuff. the other tuner did not know what he was doing for sure based on the rom info he had in there.

I can remote into any OS.. windows, linux, mac (bsd), etc. as long as there are remote applications and you have a ok internet connection. to run the tuning applications on a mac you'll wanna run them in a virtual machine in the background tho.

Do you tune AEM remotly? i'm not on the up and up as far as remote tunes go.....I'm in the same boat since i'm in Canada, and no one around here is going to tune this car.

So before I drive 16 hours to AMS.....maybe i should look into remote tunning it??

Ya i recently tuned a turbo s2000 remotely on AEM on e85, it made around 500whp on low boost.

I can tune it remotely sure.. You definitely need internet in the car though so i can fine tune the idle trims etc.

As far as the WOT / power tuning i can just edit the cal, send to you, you log it.. and continue that process until its complete.

I tune aem with a hybrid boost comp table setup so once the afr is dialed in at a set boost its as simple as just increasing boost and the afr will follow.

a full weight RS.. keyword RS!!!!!! those are light.

I dont know if he can drive or not.. but if you ran 11.3's and he cant drive hes screwed.

just get a few 3rd gear pulls in so it doesn't have to do with skill atleast. hopefully he knows to brake boost. after that you can do what you gotta do lol.

you see his dyno sheet.. so you know his powerband.
