Long term update of BR350 #018

We had BR350 #018 come in for some service work and a misfire problem. The car appears that it isn't really well taken care of. I'm not sure at all on the maintenance of the car, the body, interior, engine compartment etc., are well, disgusting.

Anyway, based on that I'm happy with how the car has held up. The owner says he plans to keep the car FOREVER. It now has 146,313 miles on the clock and has been trouble free since he bought it.

Below is the dyno chart, I can only imagine the power it would make with maybe just a new air filter on it. I will post pics on the BR Facebook page for anyone interested in seeing what I mean about the appearance, then you can be more impressed that it's stronger now by 30+ whp than it was when it was brand new!

I'm pretty sure they are stock, I remember looking at these when I was first looking for an Evo.

Very nice! Back when those were readily available I wanted one badly. Just didn't have the $ at the time to get one.

The engines were stock. The BR350's had port work to manifold/turbo/o2 housing. Upper i/c pipe kit, intake, BR 3" catback exhaust, tune, battery kit etc. The cars ran 12.70's or so stock. There was a lot of talk when we did them about durability and warranty etc. It seems that now 6-7 years down the road already, it all worked out good.

Good to hear, can't believe it was all offered with factory warranty.

Just out of curiosity, what did these sell for?

Those pictures are gross BTW...hopefully you at least talked him into a new air filter.

The warranty was offered through the participating dealers, not the factory. The factory SHOULD have jumped on it though, the cars were awesome and the reliability, obviously, was exceptional.

How many miles on car #020 now?

The 350 figure was a conservative flywheel hp figure.

The pricing on the BR350 package I think was about $4600 over sticker price.

Almost at 90,000 now. No major problems. Still runs great.

Very nice! Also very nice seeing it in very nice clean shape.

The #001 car still belongs to Steve, one of the guys who use to work here, it's flawless, maybe 10,000 miles.

Maybe a bad question. But how many BR350s were done?
