Post FP Black 91 CA tune

I was tuned by Yimi Sport the other day and I really would like some input from you guys. I'm trying to make as much power as possible on the stock block using 91 ONLY. Along with looking as stock as possible. I know with C16 or meth I will do better but 91 is the challenge, here is a list of mods.

FP Black (ball bearing)
Kelford 272 cams
Beehive valve springs w/titanium ret
ARP head studs
1000cc Injectors
Walbro 255lph pump
Full HKS cat less exhaust
Megan O2 housing
Grimspeed 3 port
Custom intake
4 bar Omni sensor
ACT flywheel
ACT 6 puck clutch
AMS upper and lower clutch lines
Clutch slave cylinder w/pill removal
Upper and Lower AMS I.C. pipes
Large front mount intercooler

Its a 06 GSR 5 speed Evo IX. It made 405whp and 333wtq. It did not get tuned with the Omni sensor installed but will soon. He told me that he had to target the load since it was a oem map sensor but with the Omni sensor he can target the boost psi witch in turn will help with tuning. Feel free to comment and say whats holding me back. Some say hes holding back, others say its pretty dead on. Thanks guys

Kind of cool, but I'm wondering what is the point? Just to say you did? you could easily make that kind of power on a green or even a stock turbo and albeit e85. but thats my question why not run e85 and at least push the turbo a little closer to its potential?

I now live just south of Fresno and there is no E85 for over 200 miles in either direction and C16 is $80 for 5 gallons and will burn up my O2s with stealth like speed. I plan to use meth but want more out of 91oct. And "just to say I did" sounds pretty good too....

I see, well you would want to start off upgrading your throttle body (larger), and intake manifold either port or buy better aftermarket units, then the exhaust manifold could be upgraded also. that should free more power. What are you power goals on 91 and how much boost was on that tune?

Oh and you might have missed it on your mods list since you have a o2 housing and exhaust, but of course the down pipe section should be upgraded to a full 3in

Hurry up and head back to the dyno with the omni installed, that way you can log boost, I'd like to see where the BB Black spools up at

Yep the Exhaust is 3in turbo back and it made 405whp 333wtq at 27psi. I plan to go back to the dyno with the new Omni map sensor and meth. Really wanting 530whp with meth, I see alot of 30r Evo's running the same setup at 530whp at 35lbs boost. My trans is a big problem too. It locks me out till 6.5k rpms to shift. I knew that was gonna happen but now I'm looking for another 5 spd.

CA91 really does suck. Put the map sensor in so they can tune the car the right way and I am sure they can get more power out of that setup.

I dont want to be rude, Im making similar numbers to what you made when you got tuned, but im on a 64mm fp red. I made 413 hp 343 tq, in 107* ambient temp in the dyno room on ca 91 octane. I would look into an intake manifold and tb, as those should help free up power. Now what kind of intercooler are you running?

About the only power adder you don't have is a ported 65mm TB or an aftermarket TB.

THe FP turbos respond very well to high pressure ratios. If you only are looking to run 91 octane, the BBK family of turbos are probably a better choice.

yeah, get the car back to him with a proper map sensor.

you should be able to make ~450whp/dj easily with your current mods
