tscomptuned - 2.4LR 6262 FF custom map crane cams e85

I finished (Ok not really) this car a few weeks ago or so and Austin wanted me to share it, but i didn't want to post it the same time i had just posted another car.

So I told him to go to the track, get some times and id post the graph with the slips and video.. so he did just that.

unfortunately for him the clutch slipped the entire 4th gear and we didn't MPH for crap for the power the cars putting down, but we were able to share the 3rd gear at least in virtual dyno.

The car has a 4.00 final drive / jacks trans and we dyno'ed it on 26" hoosier slicks because it kept spinning with regular tires making it not tuneable even after i dialed tq down. (or possibly that was the clutch slipping. either way i had to pull tq out).

Mod list:

Self Built 2.4LR block
balance shaft elim.
stock 100mm crank
gsc 156mm rods
manley 86.5mm custom pistons
cometic HG
AEM cam gears
crane/map huge cams
bc springs / retainers
MAP Ultimate Duty H11 head studs
comp clutch twin disc
JMF intake manifold
PTE 6262 Forward Facing
MAP map sensor adapter
Buschur Dual Walbro
FIC 2150cc inj
AMS Fuel Rail
Tephra v7 Speed density

Graph: (keep in mind tq is low because car was having traction issues / slipping clutch)

Weight is high due to 3 people in the car. This car should trap about 140~ once it has a new clutch and a few other tweaks. Our goal for this car is 145mph or more. the boost curve needs addressed and that will help big time once its done.

boost is on the far right here

at the track the car was running about 30-31psi.

ill update once we fix the car.. i probably shouldnt of shared this car yet since its broken.

i have another 2.3 and 6266 making near 700 at around the same boost but way more impressive curves. dont know if a overlay will help you or not or if you want any data but ill share just let me know. the 6266 is a real nice turbo. it would be a good upgrade for your 6262 if you want to stay with pte.

also do you guys hear the whine in the video? i guess the turbo is partly shot also? that could be the seals leaking and causing that whine?

I havent read the whole post so sorry if this is said but after watching the vid sounds like the turbo has a bent fin on it or something wheel related.

if thats the 6262 that was traded from a guy here in florida then the turbo has a chipped fin causing that noise.. it was like that on the prior owners car aswell.

sorry if ive mistaken... but i recall seeing a pic of alime green valvecover to the guy he was trading setups with.

sick car man .. good luck sorting it out

bad turbo , bad clutch.. what else can go wrong.. i think the cars going to be an animal once he fixes everything.. maybe swap the turbo for a newer 6266. when i overlay this car to a 2.3 and 6266 i am working on that is conservative the tq curve annihilates it.. no wonder.
