During qualifying, the STM RS was in 9th place at one point with a 9.1 pass. They might've moved up at some point. Unfortunately I think Emery was eliminated during one of the 1st or 2nd rounds of eliminations though.

Still impressive to see the RS go down the track. I was standing next to the wall right underneath the timer signs and when the STM RS goes past you at 160+ mph, it's an eye-opener!

The way it looks on the video (might be an angle diff) Em got off the lights late, catched him, about to pass and missed the shift! What a race.

Isnt Boostin Performance's Red Demon making 900whp+ on a MD?
Did they switch from the 3794 to a 6766?

Not sure about that. If you look at BP's post you'll see the RD was spinning through 2nd gear, which may have allowed the RS to keep up.

We really need to hear from Emery. His RS is way light, making big power, and should be capable of some very fast times. Looks like he has more bugs to work out, but we won't know exactly what's up until he finally posts.

maybe that will happen. BP might go to EVO/STI day at E-Town. i cant see STM missing that event.
