Got tuned @ JMS Racing

I just recently returned from a 12 month long deployment and glad to be back! So I made a visit to JMS Racing in San Antonio yesterday to get my 2005 evo 8 tuned which needed it badly. I am happy with the results, which was 318whp and 312wtq on pump gas @ 25psi and the car runs safely across the board. The numbers were low because of the cams and stock 9.8 o2 housing. I would've went with E-85 but there aren't many stations in my area and I will be leaving texas pretty soon and where I am going has no E-85. But my overall experience at JMS was great nice staff and thank you Jorge for taking the time to talk to me while I was deployed and answering all of my questions. I can't wait to come back with a different setup for you to tune my car! On to the pics and vid now

MODS:

Evo 9 turbo
Evo 9 dv
FIC 1050 injectors
AMS uicp
ETS fmic
ETS licp
Grimmspeed ebc
Omni 4 bar
Blitz catback
Ebay downpipe
HKS 264/272 cams
Wally 255
stock 02 housing from 9.8 turbo (didn't have time to change it)
25psi

My car

The dyno vid enjoy peeps!

Thanks and my first tune was with evo dynamics on pump and e-85 but since I had a different turbo put on this thing I wanted to go to a different shop plus JMS was closer to me. This was on 93 and yes this thing rips like when I had tuned @ evo dynamics, on side note I pulled on my friends stg 2 sti on the way home . Good luck with your tune bro!

I honestly don't know if it is correctly or uncorrectly but Jorge the tuner @ JMS made sure the car ran right and had no issues. Don't worry about the questions keep em coming and when I got tuned evo dynamics I was using the evo 8 turbo with the 9.8 hotside and made decent numbers. So you should be good to go.

Yo Yo PAT what's up I was asking Rob about you the other day and thanks bro yeah I was gone for a minute and where did you end up going? I will be on leave in december but when I get back I plan on going with GSC s2 cams, new o2 housing and map ef4 turbo maybe even a double pumper.

good to see that turbo making power, good numbers to start with. The S2 cams will really wake that thing up for sure. how much boost are you pushing to make those numbers ? can't wait to see where this build goes! good luck :-)
