Akash's 816whp 6466 2.L

After the last time he was here - https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...6466-2-0l.html, Akash decided he wanted to do better. Not really knowing much about the motor in the car he had decided he had to see what it would do despite the risk. Some sticky R-Comp tires and all the pulls in 4th gear were the answer.

Starting with 2* less timing than I would normally be on Q16, let alone Q16 and meth at the same time, we inched up on the boost and finally fnished at 816/553.

Pump/meth (60/40 meth and water) and Q16-

Pump meth was 12-13* out the top, 816* was 16*.

Mod list -

ETS PTE 6466 turbo kit with 0.82 Vband housing
ETS FMIC and piping
GSC S3 cams
Kiggly valvesprings
Magnus V5 intake manifold
FIC 1450s
MP Built 2.0
MP ported head
HKS Ti exhaust
Full Blown Double pumper
Omnipower 4 bar
English tuned Stock ECU SD
ACT 6 puck (getting swapped for a triple as we speak)

Though I am not logging backpressure with this car, the 0.82 V band on the 6466 seems to be working just fine as there is barely any boost taper evident. It was holding 42psi at 8250 and that small bit of taper could be because of the Hallman MBC on it and just running the side port of the WG instead of top and bottom.

Aaron

wow nice.. how much do you think the pulls being in 4th on your dynojet effected the spoolup? it looks really good for a 2.0

Back to back at 33psi it was a difference of 500rpm, 5300 for 29psi in 3rd and 4800 for 29psi in 4th.

It can actually. We pulled it in favor of a triple today but he has run at the track with the ACT and its been fine and then for drives in Germany/Mexico. 4th was intermittent on shifting at high rpm but the clutch was really "done" looking at it closer this evening. The pressure plate was warped which was keeping it from releasing properly but it wasnt slipping at 553 ft lbs. on the dyno.

Nice # out of the beast.

I think he said the ACT was locking out pretty bad and it is the main reason we changed it to the tripple.

I cant thank the guys at English enough for everything they do. Eventhough this motor might not have been initially built by them, there is not 1 inch on this car where their team hasnt touched. They do such a flawless job taking care of their customers. Today was a great day to spend with team english, and I hope that soon we will do a 2.2 SLR with the 6466 Setup. Also so far the lockout issue has gone away now having the exedy triple, but man that ACT went through alot at those numbers.

Thanks once again,

Akash

Those are some nice numbers. Gotta love that 6466. Looks like there's still room left from that turbo too.
