I just left a comment on the video, and noticed you have stock ignition maybe thats the reason for the numbers being on the lower side. But over all nice build bro enjoy it

doubt it since they can just run tighter gap to reduce spark blowout. besides its on a mustang dyno and its a big motor with big turbo im sure the kelford 272s could be upgraded, but sometimes 30-40hp is a sacrifice for a better idling car :-p

to the OP, great results, car seems solid! I like how you have full boost at 5k! thats nice! wonder if the 4.11 gears contribute to that! im on the fence about dropping my 4.5FD for a 4.11 and have the same setup as you, will be doing my 6466 this week as well..

Nice results! The more 2.4l Evos I see the more I want to start a build on a spare block... Though I'm putting together a built 2.0 right now!

OP would benefit from a cop setup with boost levels 40+ but who knows he could be satisfied with how the car sits now.

This is all i'm saying i have a COP spoolin up and @36lbs of boost i have ignition problems. I'm pretty sure new coils would help but to think he has stock and is @39lbs is nuts, But if it works don't fix it. Just keep having fun with it

Dude i'm running .19 gap and having issues with ignition if he isn't currently having issues he will soon. The stock ignition just doesn't hold well after 550whp or so. Wasted spark kinda sucks lol but being that its a mustang dyno it makes sense.

Thanks im super excited with the results im sure some 282 would make more power bit I dont want to sacrifice driveability and and some low end, I wanted to stretch out 4th for the 1320 thats why I went with the 4.11 rev limit is set to 8k right now if we have to well bump it to 8300 but we will see once im out there I cant wait ill post some street pulls I live in the boonies so lots of open road for a mostley street driven big turbo car theres nothimng like a 2.4 I went the 2.0 route already it wasnt fun untill your really pushing the car, the reason why the car has a stock ignition is that there were two 700+ cars that had ignition problems with cop's on them that took oit both head gaskets they put the stock ignition back on problem solved, the highest car has 777 on stock ignition
