Mark's FPRed Powered Beast - 93 oct vs. 100 oct - Boostin Performance

This is Marks Daily Driven FP Red powered Evo 9. I built this Evo 9 for him years ago but it was time for some TLC, maintainance, and a freash tune. Some things we replaced before the tune included: new TB shaft seals, new lower injector O-rings, we cleaned and flow tested his injectors, and installed a Hallman MBC and Grimmspeed EBCS to run hybrid boost. We also changed his trans fluild and engine oil.

On pump gas, boost was set to 26 psi, and on race gas boost was hitting 32-33 psi. The hybrid boost was nice up top on the race gas tune. Before hybrid boost, on a MBC with boost set to 33 psi, boost would fall off to 25 psi by redline. Using hybrid boost I was able to hold boost to 29-30 @ redline.

Mark has made a 10 second pass on Pump gas, and plans on taking it out on 100 oct some time soon

Mods:
Built 2.0L (I built this for him 85K miles ago)
Boostin Performance Built Trans
BR Stage 3 Head, Kelford 272 cams
BR Intercooler
FP Red BB Turbocharger
PTE 1000cc injectors, 255 lph pump
AEM S1 EMS

That kind of midrange gain sure looks sweet.. I bet it feels even better!

Thx! Yeah Mark's car is a blast to drive. Makes his commute to Chicago each morning a little fun

I believe the 100 octane was purchased from a Shell station, but I'd have to double check.

I'm guessing no E85 in the area? If so upgrade that fuel pump and line and make some serious power! Looking good for pump and 100 octane though, good job!!!!

We've discussed it with the customer, but it's not an option at this time.
