Question about my tune

Okay guys i got my first tune done awhile back on my evo 7 2001 model went from pretty much stock to 181kw running 20psi 98 octane fuel) and now going back from my next tune and also putting in a full 3" exhaust and recently got the td05 hra 16g6 10.5t turbo put in because the evo 7 turbo blow. Wanted to increase my boost to 23psi? with the new turbo i put in Which is the evo 6 turbo) and also if i can achieve that what do u recon my power will reach from 181kw to?

not really sure how the evo6 turbo measures up to the evo7 turbo. Also, not really sure what other mods you have, such as injectors type of boost controller etc.

Maybe around 200-220kw's on Evo IX's, possibly around 5-10kw less for the combo you have, depending on boost. Off memory the Evo VI turbo is great for responce but doesn't hold up well with high boost.

Sorry, I reread your post and noticed that now. 181kw is pretty low for a stock cam car at 20psi depending on boost control and how it holds boost. If it was a manual I would suspect it should have been in the 200 range as is. With the exhaust, larger turbo, and a good tune your stock cam 7 should be in the low 300s for hp which would be 220-225kw depending on weather conditions and condition of the car. Making sure there are no boost leaks and that the car holds boost as long as possible are all important details.
